Arlington Transit Workers Reach Deal with Transdev On A New Contract

Arlington Transit workers, represented by Amalgamated Transit Union Local 689 reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with Transdev yesterday evening. After months of negotiations, the agreement marks a major step forward for the workers of Arlington Transit (ART).

This would be the first contract for ART workers since they voted overwhelmingly to be represented by ATU Local 689 earlier this year. The Union intends to present the tentative agreement to members and have a ratification vote later this week.
