
Cinder Bed Strike
On October 24th, 2019 over 120 workers at the Cinder Bed Bus Garage walked off the job. It was the first strike of a MetroBus garage in 41 years. The strike would last 84 days and result in the reversal of WMATA’s path towards privatization.
